Rhea Jain is an undergraduate senior from Charlotte, North Carolina double majoring in Public Policy Studies and Global Health. On campus, her work focuses on economic, health, and criminal justice policy as a research assistant for the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity and the Wilson Center for Science and Justice at Duke Law. She also serves as an advocate at the Community Empowerment Fund in Durham, providing one-on-one support to Durham community members pursuing employment, housing, education, and financial literacy. Her thesis is an integration of her interests in health equity and access for marginalized populations, including incarcerated individuals. After graduation, Rhea plans to pursue a Master in Public Health studying systemic inequality and equitable health policy.
