Katie Kotler is a senior from Seattle, Washington majoring in Public Policy with minors in Global Health and Computer Science. She cares deeply about improving health policy, bolstering reproductive rights, and fighting systemic inequities. At Duke, she helps lead a program mentoring refugee youth in the Durham community, serves as the Vice President of Academic Affairs as a part of the Public Policy Majors Union, and is the Director of Educational Equity & Success as a part of Duke Student Government, working to strengthen both the Duke and Durham community. After graduation, she is hoping to gain experience working in the public sector or as a litigation paralegal prior to attending law school.
