Talia West

Talia West is a senior at Duke University from Agoura Hills, California, studying Public Policy and Education. On campus, she serves as President of the Duke Challah for Hunger organization, works as a Campus Tour Guide, and teaches in local Durham classrooms through America Reads America Counts. During her semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, she explored the global decline of democracies and studied the Danish and Finnish education systems firsthand. Talia has also gained valuable experience in politics and policy through her time working for Congresswoman Julia Brownley’s Office, Duke’s Center for Child and Family Policy, and the Jewish Democratic Council of America, where she serves as a Youth Ambassador. After graduation, she hopes to work in the policy or politics space before attending law school.
