A Public Policy major with minors in History and Economics, Hunter is very passionate about social change, effective government, and expanding opportunity. While he has a variety of policy interests, he has recently spent time focused on the fundamental impacts of education. He has done so through his thesis and a research assistantship in the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy studying North Carolina Pre-K. Graduating in December 2021 after having taken a gap semester following 2 years spent studying Mechanical Engineering, Hunter plans on continuing to explore his variety of interests during his remaining time at Duke and hopes to pursue a career that can combine his passions for both innovation and social change.
