
Abigail Bergan is a senior from Barrington, Illinois majoring in Public Policy and Political Science with a minor in Arabic. Her research interests include civil-military relations, special operations, and conflict in the Middle East. Over the summers, Abigail has lived and worked across the Middle East and at the McCain Institute in Washington, DC. At Duke, she is Co-Chair of the Duke Program in American Grand Strategy, a research assistant for two professors, and involved with Duke Players, Duke’s oldest student-run theater organization. After graduation, Abigail hopes to pursue a career in national security.
