Julia is a Public Policy major with a minor in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies and Environmental Sciences. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she is the oldest of four children. On campus, Julia is co-president of the Duke Sexual Assault Prevention Team, a writing consultant at the Duke Thompson Writing Studio, and a writing coach for Public Policy 155. In her free time, she enjoys biking, cooking, and backcountry canoeing. Julia plans to work for a few years before applying to study environmental law.
