
Alexa Fahrer is a senior at Duke University from Scottsdale, Arizona, studying Public Policy and Statistics. At Duke, she works as a Teaching Assistant in the Statistics Department, a Tour Guide, and a Research Assistant at the Center for Child and Family Policy. She has also been involved in Duke Student Government, the Jumpstart AmeriCorps program, Teach for America tutoring, and Duke Technology Scholars (DTech). Alexa has gained experience at the intersection of policy, research, and data through internships with the Arizona Office of the Governor under Governor Katie Hobbs, the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, and the Duke Polarization Lab. Her policy interests include education and child policy, and she hopes to pursue a career in technology after graduation.
