Devan Desai

Devan Desai is a senior studying Public Policy with minors in Biology and Chemistry on the pre-health track. A proud Durham native, Devan is a Margolis Scholar through the Margolis Center for Health Policy and Management, where he has also conducted research on low back pain projects and been involved with the Student Collaborative on Health Policy. Devan has also been involved with two Bass Connections projects related to contact tracing privacy policy and hypertension in the Durham population. He has also served as a PubPol 155 TA for many semesters. Currently, Devan is the Executive Vice President of the Duke Student Government, Chair of the Duke Honor Council, and is a tour guide among other activities. After graduating, Devan plans to gain work experience in health policy before applying to medical school.
