Kyle Melatti is a Public Policy and Political Science double major additionally pursuing a minor in Computer Science. He is originally from Las Vegas and plans to return to Nevada to run for office within the next decade. At Duke, he has previously served as a Senator for Duke Student Government. He currently serves as President of Duke Students for Education Reform, Co-Chair of the Program in American Grand Strategy, Politics Head Editor for the Duke Journal in PPE, and TK Fellow at the Kenan Institute for Ethics. Additionally, he has been a Research Assistant for Professor Helen Ladd and Doug Brook at the Sanford School for seven consecutive semesters. He spent this past summer interning for the US Government Accountability Office in the Strategic Issues Mission Team. Kyle is currently pursuing law school and post-grad job opportunities. He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
