Morgan Settle is a senior from North Carolina, though she was raised in Manila, Philippines, and has lived across several countries. She is earning a B.A. in Public Policy with a minor in Finance. During her time at Duke, Morgan has been deeply involved in Project BUILD, serving as an orientation leader for incoming students, and in Fluke News, Duke’s satirical newspaper. Professionally, Morgan has gained experience in real estate and asset management, where she explored investment strategies across housing and equities. Her academic interests center on psychedelic-assisted therapy and the intersection of medicine, law, and finance, specifically how regulatory and economic structures shape access to emerging treatments like MDMA. After graduation, Morgan plans to teach English abroad, potentially in Albania, Japan, Spain, or the Philippines, before pursuing law school to further study international and health policy.
