
Jiae Kim is a senior majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Education and a certificate in Child Policy Research. She is part of the Secondary Teacher Preparation Program and is preparing for licensure in high school social studies and mathematics. Her interests focus on how immigration status shapes access to education. Outside of her honors thesis, she has been involved with Inside Education, Bull City Scholars, and research through Duke Law School, the Sanford School of Public Policy, and the Duke Program in Education. She is interested in pursuing graduate study in education and law after graduation.
