Coral Lin

Coral Lin

Coral is a public policy and economics major with a minor in environmental science. Originally from Newton, Massachusetts, she first developed an interest in environmental and energy justice from work in her hometown’s local environmental nonprofit. Coral has since developed her knowledge through work at the National Resources Defense Council and at the Department of Energy. At Duke, Coral has served in leadership roles in Our Urban Future (Duke’s urban studies club), the Undergraduate Environmental Union, and Momentum Dance Company. She has also conducted research in Bass Connections in collaboration with Duke Environmental Law and Policy Clinic and with Dr. Zoie Diana, respectively. Coral was a 2023 Service Opportunities in Leadership Fellow and a 2024 Udall Scholar. After graduating, she hopes to work in environmental or energy policy before going to law school to pursue a career in energy and climate justice.
