Amanda is a senior from Greensboro, NC majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Economics. She is a Political Engagement Project Fellow and cohort leader for the Penny Pilgram George Women’s Leadership Initiative. On campus, she serves on the executive boards of Women in Politics, WISER, and Swing NC Duke. Previously, she has been engaged in research through the Bass Connections Projects “Developing the Political Citizen” and “Economies of Care.” Last fall, she took a gap semester to serve as Call Time Manager on Eugene DePasquale’s campaign in PA-10, which piqued her interest in campaigns and minority voter engagement. After graduation, Amanda plans to work in finance before working in nonprofits or campaigns.
