RJ is a native Pennsylvanian who earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science along with a minor in Civil War Era Studies from Gettysburg College in 2023. During his time as an undergraduate, RJ was awarded the Frederic Dewitt Justin Fellowship from the Gettysburg College History Department. The fellowship allowed RJ the chance to learn more about American foreign policy and grand strategy during the 1947 to 1953 period by examining the views of George Fielding Eliot, a prominent military analyst of that time. Outside of the classroom, RJ ran two academic journals, the Gettysburg College Headquarters and the Gettysburg Journal of Public Policy. RJ’s policy interests include National Security & Foreign Policy, with a focus on American grand strategy, as well as a growing interest in Education Policy. In his free time, you can find RJ in the library reading poetry, history, or any books that catch his interest.
