Lucero Gomez Arias, she/her
Class of 2025
Lucero was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agronomy from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. She worked at a consulting firm as a project analyst where she conducted cost-benefit analysis, social and economic evaluations for projects related to modernization of the state, agriculture, health, security and transportation. At Sanford, she will develop her analytical and quantitative skills for evidence-based policymaking and project evaluation in developing countries. In her free time, Lucero enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and hiking.
