Leah grew up in California, sparking her interest in environmental issues. In 2022 she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science from The George Washington University. Most recently Leah worked as a regulatory analyst for the Public Advocates Office at the California Public Utilities Commission. At Duke, Leah is passionate about learning the best ways to advocate for her community, locally and globally, through public policy.
