Jonathan Pyka
MPP Class of 2024
Jonathan is a proud first-generation college student who completed his BA in Community Governance and Advocacy at Michigan State University in 2022. He also holds an associate degree from Washtenaw Community College. He comes to Sanford after spending the last 10 years working in southeast Michigan as a paramedic and EMS instructor, along with experience in education policy. His policy interests are varied and cut across the areas of health, social, and environmental policy. In his free time he enjoys cooking & baking, gaming, and numerous outdoor activities.
