Charlotte Kaufmann grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina and graduated from Davidson College in 2018 with a degree in history. She has spent the past five years working as an analyst for an Intelligence Community customer in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Prior to her post-graduate work, she completed internships at the U.S. Department of Justice. Charlotte’s academic interests lie at the intersection of national security and technology policy, particularly emerging technologies that will have national security implications. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, baking, reading and attending concerts, and is excited for Duke basketball season.
