Tyler Tudor is an incoming Master of Public Policy student at Duke University\u2019s Sanford School of Public Policy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Pre-Law concentration and a minor in Economics from East Carolina University in 2022, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from ECU in 2023, enhancing his skills in analysis, strategy, and communication. His policy interests include national security and foreign policy, as well as social policy. Tyler currently serves as an Operations Assistant at Neighbor to Neighbor, an outreach ministry in Durham, NC, where he supports daily operations and contributes to the organization\u2019s transition into a nonprofit. He remains actively engaged in the community through Duke Memorial United Methodist Church and Durham CAN, a non-partisan coalition focused on building trust, influencing public decisions, and driving issue-based change. In March 2024, Tyler had the opportunity to shadow a member of Congress and attend the State of the Union address\u2014an experience that affirmed his passion for public service and policymaking. He plans to leverage his policy training to step into leadership roles within government or the nonprofit sector, with long-term aspirations of running for public office to advocate for impartial policies and meaningful community impact.
