Nejma Hessini-Arandel is French-Algerian and grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from McGill University in 2024 with Joint Honors in World Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and Hispanic Studies and a minor in International Development. She loves to travel and has spent a lot of time living abroad, in Canada, Morocco, Jordan, Spain and Algeria. She spent the last year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Algeria where she taught English to University students at the University of Algiers 2.
