Cornell is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he graduated from Parkland High School.\u00a0 Since completing his undergraduate studies at UNC-Chapel Hill, he has endeavored to serve and strengthen\u00a0local communities. He has served as a teacher in Durham Public Schools and several non-profit organizations before attending Sanford. Cornell is interested in the relationship between international and domestic policy as well as entrepreneurship as a tool for community development.
