Jan Spanhofer (24) is pursuing a master’s degree in public policy at the Hertie School, Berlin, and Duke University. He previously completed a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and economics at the University of Bayreuth. As an intern and working student, he has gained experience at the ifo Institute, the Bertelsmann Foundation, and the German Bundestag. His primary areas of interest include educational governance, behavioral science, and economic policy.
