Daisy Lane is a Public Policy and History double major from Charlotte, North Carolina. At Duke, she is the Chair of Duke Votes, Co-President of Women in Politics, and a TA for Public Policy 155. Previous research projects include a Bass Connections project called “Elections in a Pandemic” where she and two other women created and executed a pilot project aimed at convincing non-voters to vote. She spent last summer working as the Government Affairs Intern for the National Head Start Association. After graduation she plans to take a gap year before attending law school.<\/p>\n
