I am a Public Policy Studies and Spanish Studies double-major with a Computer Science minor from Franklin, TN. I hope to go to law school after taking a gap year. I am interested in a wide variety of policy developments, particularly within legal systems. I hope to use my Spanish major to communicate with a diverse range of future clients as well as complete future pro bono work in immigration law. I hope to utilize data architecture and coding solutions to digitalize legal storage systems. I am passionate about leveraging web development to enhance access to legal resources for Spanish-speaking immigrant communities. My thesis examines the intersection of public policy, law, Spanish, and computer science by studying public attitudes towards Legal Aid of North Carolina’s chatbot, LIA.<\/p>\n
